AgriS Strengthens Access to International Capital, Laying the Foundation for a New Growth Cycle

Share: YUIN

Solid business performance strengthened access to international capital, and an increasingly robust governance foundation position AgriS to proactively enter a new growth cycle, expand its agriculture–food ecosystem, and enhance its standing in the regional market.

A Solid Business Foundation for a New Growth Cycle

In the 2025–2026 fiscal year, AgriS (Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company, HOSE: SBT) recorded VND 26.892 trillion in net revenue, achieving 101.5% of its annual target; profit before tax reached nearly VND 908 billion, while profit after tax exceeded VND 840 billion.

In the fourth quarter alone, consolidated profit after tax surpassed VND 228 billion, up approximately 48% year-on-year, while gross profit margin improved from 8.3% to 13.5%. These results underscore AgriS’s ability to sustain business efficiency and further enhance operational quality amid continued volatility in global markets.

The Company’s revenue structure also continued to diversify. While sugar remained the core business, the rice segment generated more than VND 2.6 trillion, accounting for approximately 10% of total revenue. Agricultural services, fruit, food, and beverage businesses contributed more than VND 1 trillion.

AgriS is advancing its transformation from a sugar producer and trading company into an integrated agriculture–food ecosystem, creating additional growth drivers alongside its core business. Within this ecosystem, Betrimex’s coconut-based products are now present in more than 80 countries, supported by a network of over 120 strategic partners worldwide.

Expanding Access to International Capital

Alongside its business growth, AgriS has continued to strengthen its cooperation with First Commercial Bank (FCB) and a broader network of international banks, diversifying its funding sources and enhancing financial flexibility for long-term investment plans.

Since 2023, FCB has served as the lead bank in arranging and managing syndicated financing programs involving multiple Taiwanese financial institutions. By 2025, AgriS’s international banking network had expanded to 15 partner banks, with financing structures designed to support both operational requirements and medium-term investment plans.

In meetings between AgriS Chairwoman Đặng Huỳnh Ức My and FCB Chairwoman Chiu Yueh-Chin, discussions focused on financial solutions for agricultural value chains, sustainable financing, and models that strengthen connectivity among banks, businesses, and farmers.

This direction is aligned with AgriS’s strategy to build an integrated ecosystem in which capital is connected with technology, raw material areas, production, trade, and end markets, creating growth capacity across the entire value chain.

Beyond FCB, AgriS has also developed relationships with IFC, a member of the World Bank Group; DEG, part of Germany’s KfW Group; responsAbility; and ING. This expanding network of international partners enhances AgriS’s access to financial resources, international financial standards, and capital flows aligned with sustainable development.

Turning Resources into Growth Capacity

Financial resources are being translated into capabilities that directly drive growth across the ecosystem. In the rice sector, AgriS is developing an integrated value chain spanning raw material areas, farmer partnerships, procurement and logistics, processing, and distribution. Rice output during the fiscal year exceeded 210,000 tonnes, strengthening the foundation for this segment to become a new pillar of growth.

In the food and beverage sector, AgriS has invested approximately VND 500 billion in new plants and production lines. At the same time, the Company is expanding high-tech fruit-growing areas in Tay Ninh and Gia Lai, focusing on bananas and pineapples for processing and export.

These investments enhance processing capacity, diversify the product portfolio, increase the value of agricultural products, and strengthen AgriS’s ability to serve both domestic and international markets. They also enable deeper integration of ESG standards into production and supply chain operations.

Governance as a Foundation for Long-Term Trust

AgriS’s access to international capital is further supported by the quality of its governance, transparency, cash flow generation capacity, and disciplined fulfillment of financial commitments.

On July 24, 2026, the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders for the 2025–2026 fiscal year approved eight proposals covering amendments to the Company Charter, governance regulations, and the strengthening of the Board of Directors, reinforcing AgriS’s legal and governance foundation for its next phase of expansion.

AgriS was also recognized among the Top 10 Exemplary Annual General Meetings in 2026 in the mid-cap category, ranked among 20 companies committed to and pioneering toward ASEAN Asset Class standards under ACGS20, and named among the Top 50 Pioneering Enterprises Committed to Enhancing Corporate Governance in Vietnam – VNCG50 for two consecutive years.

Capital Capacity for the 2030 Vision

Toward its target of achieving VND 60 trillion in revenue by 2030, AgriS is focused on scaling its operations, digitalizing the value chain, and globalizing its agricultural ecosystem.

International financial cooperation therefore extends beyond capital mobilization. The focus is on selecting appropriate capital structures, improving capital efficiency, and translating financial resources into production capacity, revenue growth, and sustainable value.

With a strengthened business foundation, governance framework, and international financial network, AgriS is entering a new growth cycle with greater control over its resources—ready to expand its ecosystem, enhance value across the chain, and strengthen its position in the regional market.
